Tucked in the beautiful Texas Piney Woods, Camp Lantern Creek is a residential summer camp for girls ages 7 to 17. Combining traditional summer camp activities with visual and performing arts, Lantern Creek provides the best possible environment for campers to discover their strengths and grow through life-changing experience.
You might be a CLC Counselor if :
• You LOVE kids! Our counselors spend their summer with our campers, so we hire young women who love working with the coolest kids around.
• You are enthusiastic. We are looking for energetic, fun people to join our team.
• You have excellent communication and leadership skills. We operate as a team from the top down and want you to have ownership in your experience here at CLC.
• Teaching ability - experience is awesome, but a willingness to learn is fantastic, too.
• You are accepting and open-minded. We are proud to have girls from all walks of life here at camp!
• You are flexible and creative — camp is ever-changing and fast paced!
Camp Lantern Creek counselors are the best of the best when it comes to female role models. Our staff is fun, caring, independent, compassionate, and patient. Working as a collaborative team with our counselors, we empower our staff to teach and care for children in a fun and nurturing environment.
Our counselors do it all - waking up campers each morning with singing and dancing, teaching different classes that they are passionate about, facilitating leadership development, leading evening programs, and even cleaning camp. Yes, this job is a lot of work, but it is most rewarding job you will ever have. After all, life is good... but camp is better!
