BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Fun, Friends, and Freethought
Camp Quest is an overnight secular summer camp aimed towards critical thinking, skepticism, and open discussion. While campers partake in traditional camp activities, such as field games, swimming, archery, crafts, and campfires, what sets Camp Quest apart from traditional summer camps is our focus on humanist values and ethics. Our unique activities encourage rational inquiry, free speech, active citizenship, and respect. Camp Quest envisions a world in which children grow up exploring, thinking for themselves, connecting with their communities, and acting to make the most of life for themselves and others.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Academics, and more. Critical Thinking, Humanism.
CAMP LOCATION: Our MN camp is located in Mound, MN (45 minutes west of the Twin Cities). Our Iowa camp is located in Boone, IA (1 hr NE of Des Moines)
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp Quest North offers a CIT program each week of camp to campers ages 16-17 that are interested in learning more about what it means to be a counselor at camp and to develop leadership skills.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarships applications will be available as part of your camper(s) registration. A deposit of $100 is needed at the time of registration for each camper. If you are in need of a full scholarship please contact us at contact[AT]campquestnorth.org and we will work with you to ensure you can register.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Become a Counselor. Camp Quest North we are always in need of enthusiastic and caring people to be volunteer counselors. As a counselor you will stay in cabins with campers all week, lead and help with activities, and encourage campers to ensure that everyone has an amazing week of camp. To apply, please click on the online application link below. After you apply, you will be contacted regarding an interview. Once, you have completed and interview and been initially approved to be a counselor, we will run a background check for final approval. Please note that counselors arrive to camp one day prior to campers for training.
