BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Campers from ages 6-18 can study all types music this summer on the Coral Gables campus of the University of Miami! Whether you are a beginner or aiming to be a music major in college - our professional faculty welcomes YOU! If you are a Singer, study Classical Piano, Strings, Winds, play Jazz or Rock, or write your own music -- check out our website for full details about all of our awesome programs! (We also have a supervised teen dorm program and provide bus transportation in Dade and Broward counties.)
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Musical Theater, Music/Band, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located on the beautiful campus of the University of Miami Frost School of Music in Coral Gables, FL.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our out of town campers are personally picked up at the Miami International Airport and brought to our camp. (about 20 minutes away) They stay in the college dorms with our awesome counselors - providing a total camp experience. Day campers enjoy a daily hot lunch in the UM cafeteria. Each camp concludes with a Final Concert, where every student performs in one of UM's fine concert halls.

Our summer music camp is the ideal way to find out. Whether you play piano, guitar, drums, strings or wind instruments, or you are a vocalist, the Young Musicians' Camp at the University of Miami in Miami Florida has programs for you... classical music, jazz, rock, songwriting, composition, musical theater, and contemporary voice.
Our talented and distinguished musical faculty provides group teaching, one-on-one coaching, master classes, informal jam sessions and fun camp concerts. Whether you are a South Florida student or from overseas, you are sure to grow as a musician, and have fun playing and performing with other talented young musicians.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a Community Service Program for music students entering 11th or 12th grade in the fall.
