BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: At Gould’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design and Math) camp, girls will blend science, technology, engineering, and art for a week of building, making and doing!
Come join us for an innovative residential week where creative confidence, risk taking, design thinking, and outdoor exploration foster confidence and skill building.
On the camp page take a tour of the IDEAS Center with camp facilitator and program director Sara Shifrin ’88, who was inducted into the Maine State Librarian’s Hall of Excellence as a STEAM Leader.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Math, Science, Technology, Academics, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Gould Academy is a small, coed, independent boarding school, located at the eastern edge of the White Mountains in Bethel, Maine.
CAMP FACILITIES: Gould Academy Summer Programs makes use of our beautiful campus facilities. Our campus has three separate dormitories, dining hall, auditorium, campus store, athletic fields, field house with indoor skate park, basketball court and state of the art weight room. Our location in the western mountains of Maine provides ample outdoor adventure opportunities.
