CAMPER AGES: Full Day Camp ages 8 - 17, Junior Camp for ages 5-8
TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Weekdays- Full Day, 9am - 3pm, Junior Camp Half Day 9-11:30 am or 12:30- 3pm

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Computers, Science, Technology, Academics, and more. Our Programs Capture & Retain Student Interest In Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering & Functional Aesthetic Design, Graphic Art & Computer-aided Design. Students Use Hardware, Software & Programing Alone Or In Combination.
CAMP LOCATION: Our camp takes place just off the main roadway in New Milford.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp takes place in the large library in New Milford High School, plenty of room to design, develop and test projects using WiFi computer access and materials readily available.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Join us in the New Milford High School library and create beginning to advanced projects in STEM and Design, including Programming, Robotics, Electronics and more, with expert guidance and support.
Activities, Summer Camp ages 8-17
• Build and program Lego NXT & EV3, Tetrix and Vex robots
• Hack your own toys and do cool things
• Program in C++, Basic, NXT, Python, Java, and other languages
• Explore electronics and circuit boards
• Take apart electronic equipment
• Learn the fundamentals of CAD and computer science
• Work with remote environmental sensors and data analysis
• Learn about engineering careers
• Explore graphic design and animation software
• Have a Robo-War at the end of the week!
Activities, Junior Camp ages 5-8
• Experience a gentle introduction to the concepts of Robotics and computer science with our very own Step Turn and Learn card game
• Fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) group activities that teach concepts such as problem solving, center of gravity, and fractals
• Art and design projects, such as origami and SunArt pictures
• Lots of free play time with Snap Circuits Legos, and Spirograph, just to name a few
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp is directed, supervised and guided by founders with 50 years of combined industrial experience in all STEM and various design disciplines, staffed by mentors and interns with tremendous experience and a love of technology and visited by involved career professionals.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Multiple week discounts, sibling discounts, and financial aid are available.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Our mission is to introduce, capture, and retain the interest of young people, K-12, in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and Design-related fields by providing practical, hands-on, real-world projects and the opportunity for students to create, design, develop, implement and test their own ideas.
We offer hands-on classes in Minecraft Basic & Advanced Skills, Introduction to advanced Lego NXT Robotics, Basic and Intermediate Soldering, and Programing in many languages, such as Java and Python. See our We site for program offerings throughout the year.
