BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Activities include archery, high and low challenge course activities, climbing wall, swimming, canoeing, fishing, volleyball, hiking, tubing, wakeboarding and water skiing. From Opening Night Campfire to Thursday Night Live to Closing Ceremonies on Saturday, your child is sure to take lifelong friendships and memories from Camp TAK. We are an American Camp Association-accredited camp (reaccredited consistently and most recently in 2014).
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Fine Arts/Crafts, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Volleyball, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Caving, Rockwall Climbing, & Fishing & Canoeing With Campout Nights!

From Tulsa / North of Chouteau
Take Hwy 412E to US 69S toward Wagoner. Go approximately 7 miles & turn left/east on 655 Rd. (Flat Rock Rd./Rec. Area). Go 3 miles. At the stop sign continue straight. The road dead ends at camp.
From Broken Arrow / South of Wagoner
Take Hwy 51E (or the Muskogee Turnpike to 51E) to US 69N toward Chouteau/Pryor. Go approximately 7 miles & turn right/east on 655 Rd. (Flat Rock Rd./Rec. Area). Go 3 miles. At the stop sign continue straight. The road dead ends at camp.
CAMP FACILITIES: YMCA Camp Takatoka brings kids from all over the region to the shores of Lake Fort Gibson, just 45 minutes from Tulsa, and situated on 410 acres of beautiful land with diverse geography including lakefront, grass plains, rolling hills and forest. Camp TAK has 12 modern cabins and 2 open air cabins, equipped with an infirmary, dining hall with fireplace and an open air chapel overlooking the lake.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Counselors in Leadership Training or CILTS! 15-17 year olds learning responsibility and leadership to become not only a great counselor but leader in their community.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarships and financial aid available through the YMCA Membership for all programs.
